Allium gigantium is perhaps the largest off all the giant onions. Giant softball sized bloom is 5-6" in diameter. Plant in full sun. Great for cut and dried flowers.

Plant bulbs in a location where the soil drains well. Dig holes and plant the bulbs 3" deep and 6"-8" apart. Position the bulbs with the pointy end up. After planting, water well, thoroughly soaking the area.
